REBATES
To access Medicare rebates for your psychology sessions you'll need a valid Medicare card, a Mental Health Treatment Plan (MHTP) and a referral from your GP.
If you can obtain and provide to us a mental health care plan from your GP, you can access up to 10 rebated sessions per calendar year.
$96.65 per session is rebated into your nominated account

Your payment and rebate will be processed securely via encrypted practice management platform, Zanda (Formerly Power Diary). We will collect your credit or debit card details prior to your first session and store them in Zanda for ease of processing. Information regarding Zanda's security and privacy can be found on their website https://zandahealth.com/au. For information on accessing services via DVA, visit their website. You will only be charged if you attend your session or our cancellation policy is enacted (see below).
Private payment is available for all consultations.
You will not be able to access your rebate until a MHTP is provided.
NDIS funded services are available to plan- and self-managed consumers only.
Private Health Insurance
Depending on your Private Health provider and level of cover, you may be able to access a rebate for Psychology services. Please inquire with your provider to determine this. If seeking a Private Health Insurance rebate, you will be provided with a receipt to claim with your provider following payment of your session.
Clinical Supervision & Associated Services
Supervision with our Board-approved supervisor is available for early career and provisional psychologists (4+2 and 5+1 pathways), and other mental health workers. Supervision sessions are charged at $200.00 per session. An additional 10% GST is applied where supervision is provided to registered psychologists or paid for by a third party (e.g., an employer).
We can also provide ad-hoc assistance with aspects of the Provisional Psychology pathway, such as Case Report reviews; National Psychology Exam support; and specific supervision in across the lifespan case conceptualisation and intervention.
Missed Appointments, Rescheduling, and Cancellations
SMS and email reminders are sent out 48 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. Should you fail to attend your scheduled appointment, or cancel with less than 24 hours' notice you will be charged a booking fee of $50. If you cancel less than 12 hours prior to your scheduled appointment, you will be charged 100% of the standard consult fee. Rebates are not available for cancellation fees. These fees are charged to ensure the sustainability of services at Good Path Psychology.
